COVID-19 management in school
You will find information below to support you and your family as schools in this time when we doing all that we can to keep our schools and families safe during the current pandemic. As well as the information that we are putting out for our own children and parents, there is also a DfE (Department for Education) coronavirus helpline for queries relating to schools and other educational establishments, and children's social care. The helpline number is 0800 046 8687 and opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.

What if my child or a member of my family is showing symptoms of the coronavirus?
The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of any of the following:
- a new continuous cough
- a high temperature
- a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
If your child develops coronavirus symptoms, you must not send them to school. Instead you must call the school to inform the school of this.
If your child becomes seriously ill or their life is at risk then you should call 999 for urgent assistance.
Should my child be tested for COVID-19?
