School Closure 2020

It has been fantastic to see so many children and parents staying active during the school closures. For those following Joe Wicks PE, your be pleased to hear Joe Wicks will be continuing with these sessions for the duration of the school closures, if you haven’t already given this a go, I thoroughly recommend it, its certainly harder than it looks! If you fancy a change Jump Start Jonny is also doing daily fitness videos at 9am or follow @WSSA on twitter for Worthing Schools activities to take part in.

If you are looking for something more sport specific, ACE Football Academy and Worthing Gymnastics Club are also uploading daily challenges and fitness videos which you can find and follow on Facebook and Twitter.

Below are some further PE resources, games and activities for children to do at home.

Stay safe and stay active!

Mrs Cleary

Our very own Brighton Albion football star has gone above and beyond to help other children at home with their football skills during the lockdown with her own virtual coaching videos, these can be found on YouTube using the links below. Well-done Kaitlin!

Do you think you could make a coaching video, teaching a skill from your favourite sport? We would love to see them!

There is a competition for the best football kit design and leotard design found in the activity packs above. For a chance to win a special prize please take a photo of your child's design and send these to Mrs Cleary via email at Deadline has now been extended to Friday the 8th of May.
We would of had our Time to Dance performance before the Easter Holidays although this has been postponed we would like to encourage children to create their own dance routines and share them so we can have our own virtual ‘Time to Dance’. You can either send these to Mrs Cleary via email at, post on our school Facebook page or tag @WSSA on twitter. We look forward to seeing what the children come up with.
